I-129F mailed off

Today I mailed my I-129F packet off to the Vermont Service Center. The package was sent via UPS 2 day air service to ensure that it arrives.

Is the love of your life living outside of the USA?

I've been doing a lot of traveling this year and have met some wonderful people along the way. One of the women whom I met I believe to be the love of my life and am currently working on a K1 fiancee Visa application to bring her to the United States for marriage.

I'm sure there are other world travelers, or other people in the same situation so I thought about making this blog to share my experiences, provide advice and help others learn from my successes and mistakes.

I've decided to do the process by myself in order to save money. It looks like it will be an expensive process once all the costs are added up but believe it will be worth it in the end.

Filing I-129F by Myself

I have decided to file the I-129F petition by myself. I thought about getting an attorney, however have found enough advice and information to feel comfortable with filing this form by myself. Its fairly straight forward.

A good resource with instructions on the requirements of obtaining is www.visajourney.com
